Built for real week answers, not a static number

Most “what week is it” pages stop at a single ISO number. This tool keeps the week interactive: today is highlighted, holidays for your country appear in-range, week codes (2026-W32, CW32, YYWW) copy in one tap, and deep links remember the date and numbering mode. When you need the bigger picture, one click opens the year calendar on the same week or scrolls to bridge-day leave ideas.

      How ISO weeks work

ISO 8601 weeks start on Monday. Week 1 is the week that contains the first Thursday of the year, which is also the week containing January 4. That rule keeps week lengths consistent worldwide, but it means a date in early January can belong to week 52 or 53 of the previous week-year, and late December can already be week 1 of the next week-year.

      ISO vs US week numbers

US-style weeks usually start on Sunday, and week 1 is simply the week that contains January 1. Most of the year both systems show the same number, but around New Year they can drift apart by one. If a spreadsheet WEEKNUM result or a coworker’s “week” looks off, switch the ISO / US toggle to compare both answers on the same date.

      What you get

      • Current week answer. Instant ISO week number, week-year, Monday–Sunday range, year progress, quarter, and weeks remaining — updated as you navigate.
      • Date ↔ week converters. Turn any date into a week number and year, or expand a week number into its full date range without leaving the page.
      • ISO and US week modes. Compare Monday-start ISO weeks with Sunday-start US weeks, including a clear note when the two systems disagree.
      • Share, print, and ICS export. Copy week codes or a share link, print a clean week sheet, download an ICS for the week plus holidays, and jump into the year calendar leave planner.

      Frequently asked questions

ISO weeks, US weeks, converters, and planning links.

      What week is it today?
The large number at the top is today’s week number for the selected system (ISO by default). It also shows the Monday–Sunday range and how many weeks remain in the year.
How do ISO week numbers work?
ISO weeks start on Monday. Week 1 contains the first Thursday of the year. That means a date in early January can belong to the previous week-year (week 52 or 53).
Why does US week numbering look different?
US-style weeks typically start on Sunday and count the week containing January 1 as week 1. Toggle US week mode to see that number side by side with ISO.
Can I convert a date to a week number?
Yes. Use Date → week under the converters, or pick a day on the week board. Week → date range turns a week number and year into Monday–Sunday dates.
Can I export or share this week?
Copy week codes (2026-W32, CW32, YYWW), share the week link, print a clean week view, or download an ICS file for the week plus its holidays.
How do I open this week on the year calendar?
Use This week on year calendar to open the matching year board with the week highlighted, or Plan leave around this week to jump to the bridge-day leave planner.
