How PomodoroTimers handles privacy, local storage, and optional third-party services.
Overview
PomodoroTimers is designed to work in your browser. We do not require an account to use the core tools. This policy explains what stays on your device and what may be processed by our hosting or optional services.
Data stored on your device
Tools may save preferences in your browser (for example theme, language choice, Pomodoro tasks/stats, timer history, alarm list, world-clock pins, and calendar events). This data does not leave your device unless you export it or a feature you use explicitly sends it elsewhere.
Server logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider may record standard request logs (IP address, user agent, URL, and timestamp) for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to build marketing profiles.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use local storage for tool preferences. Essential cookies may be set by the application framework for security (for example CSRF protection). We do not run third-party advertising trackers on the rebuilt site.
Optional weather data
If weather features are enabled in a future environment, they may call a weather API with a location code. When weather is not configured, no weather request is made.
Embeds
If you embed our clock widgets on another site, the embed loads from PomodoroTimers and may generate normal server logs. Embed pages are marked noindex.
