    Ninety-minute countdown

Ninety minutes — a long focus or lecture block

This page loads 90:00 (an hour and a half). It matches long lectures, exams, films-with-a-pause, and ultradian work cycles. The digits stay 90:00 on the ring so they fit the dial instead of wrapping as 01:30:00.

Ninety minutes is long enough that you will leave the room. Allow notifications, or keep a display on so the alarm is obvious. You can still pause or add a minute if the session overruns.

    1. 01

      Start at 90:00

Press Start for ninety minutes. Keep wake lock on if this is the room clock. Queue a 10-minute timer if you want a buffer after the main block.

    2. 02

      Start the countdown

Press Start or Space. Progress updates on a circular dial, and the face shows when the timer ends. Pause anytime, add +1 min, queue another timer, or go fullscreen / sleep for a distraction-free display. The tab title shows remaining time while you work elsewhere.

    3. 03

Hear the alert & keep going

When time is up, stop the alarm with one tap. Start the next queued timer, review local history, export CSV, or copy a shareable link. A refresh restores an in-progress countdown on this device.

Longer than a Pomodoro, shorter than an afternoon

Four Pomodoros plus breaks is a different rhythm. A single 90-minute block is for when context-switching would cost more than one alarm. Pair with a 15-minute break page after, or use the home Pomodoro for tracked shorter cycles.

    What you get

    • Presets & quick lengths Jump to common seconds, minutes, and hours, or named timers like study and classroom. The Countdown pane still offers weekdays, times of day, and a custom datetime — holiday countdowns are on the Online Countdown tool.
    • Background-tab accuracy Countdown uses deadline math so it stays correct when the browser throttles hidden tabs.
    • Sounds, notifications & wake lock Choose alert sounds and ring length, get a desktop notification when finished, and keep the screen awake while running.
    • Fullscreen & sleep mode Go fullscreen for a large dial display, or sleep to dim the whole page so only the countdown stays visible.
    • Up-next queue While a timer is running, tap presets to queue up to three countdowns and start the next when you are ready.
    • Embed widget Drop a compact countdown on your site with custom colors, size, skin, and default duration.

    Frequently asked questions

Setting the dial, presets, alerts, and embeds — quick answers.

Why does the 90 minute timer show 90:00 instead of 1:30:00?
So the time stays readable inside the circular dial and matches “90 minute timer” searches. It is still one and a half hours.
Can I use this for a 90-minute exam?
Yes. Fullscreen the page when the exam starts. Add minutes only if extra time is granted. The alarm is on the proctor’s machine unless students open their own copy.
Will a 90 minute timer drain the battery?
A visible tab with wake lock uses more power than a sleeping phone clock. Plug in a classroom display. On a laptop, dim the screen or use sleep mode on the page.
How is 90 minutes different from the ultradian Pomodoro preset?
The home Pomodoro ultradian cadence is 90 minutes of work plus a longer break, with tasks and stats. This page is only the 90:00 countdown — simpler to share as a link.
