    Sixty-minute test clock

    A one-hour exam clock, ready to proctor

    This page starts at 60:00. Project it at the front of the room or keep it on the proctor laptop. Students can open their own copy; the alarm is local, so only that device rings.

    Exam countdowns fail when the clock is buried in a phone. Fullscreen and sleep mode leave a large remaining time. Add minutes only if extra time is granted. For 90-minute papers, use the 90 minute timer page instead of stretching this face by hand.

      Start the exam at 60:00

      When booklets open, press Start. Use fullscreen so remaining time fills the board. Silence is fine — turn volume down; the digits still run.

      Start the countdown

      Press Start or Space. Progress updates on a circular dial, and the face shows when the timer ends. Pause anytime, add +1 min, queue another timer, or go fullscreen / sleep for a distraction-free display. The tab title shows remaining time while you work elsewhere.

      Hear the alert & keep going

      When time is up, stop the alarm with one tap. Start the next queued timer, review local history, export CSV, or copy a shareable link. A refresh restores an in-progress countdown on this device.

    Built for mocks, SAT blocks, and in-class tests

    A kitchen timer is easy to knock over. A shared browser tab is easy to fullscreen. Pair with the classroom timer (45:00) for shorter periods, or the teacher pack for embed snippets on a class site.

    Can students hear the exam alarm on their phones?
    Only if they opened this page themselves and left sound on. The proctor’s copy only rings on the proctor’s machine.
    What if the exam is 90 minutes?
    Use the 90 minute timer page so the face shows 90:00. This landing is the common one-hour block.
    Will refresh cancel a running exam timer?
    An in-progress countdown is restored on that device after refresh. Do not close the tab if this is the room clock.
    Can I embed an exam timer on our LMS?
    Yes. The embed builder on this page copies an iframe. The teacher pack has a ready 60:00 recipe with a share link.
