Why a cooking timer page
People searching for a cooking timer want a clock that already matches kitchen timing — not a blank dial. This landing is the same online timer engine with a 10:00 default and copy aimed at the stove, not study blocks.

Kitchen countdown
This page opens a cooking timer at 10:00 — long enough for many stovetop steps, short enough to stay on the counter. Press Start when the pot hits a boil or the oven timer would normally go on.
Phone clocks pull you into messages mid-sauté. A browser cooking timer keeps the digits visible on a tablet or laptop while you cook. Queue a second preset for the next step, or open the kitchen, egg, or pasta landings when you want a dedicated starting length.
Press Start when the dish needs attention. Change the dial if the recipe asks for more or less time. Fullscreen keeps grease-free hands off the browser chrome.
Press Start or Space. Progress updates on a circular dial, and the face shows when the timer ends. Pause anytime, add +1 min, queue another timer, or go fullscreen / sleep for a distraction-free display. The tab title shows remaining time while you work elsewhere.
When time is up, stop the alarm with one tap. Start the next queued timer, review local history, export CSV, or copy a shareable link. A refresh restores an in-progress countdown on this device.
